SaberLight has just recently released a new version of their highly demanded and famous Darksaber hilt, named Darksaber V2. This is a black-bladed lightsaber inspired by the Darksaber used by the characters from the Disney+ series The Mandalorian, such as Moff Gideon.
With smooth-swing neopixel darksaber technology and a custom saber shop in Australia, Darksaber V2 improves on all the features that made its predecessor an instant hit among Star Wars prop replica enthusiasts. The angled hilt has been replicated with great accuracy, from the emblem on the blade projector to the leathered handle. The design looks and feels as if it is the actual prop that was used in the show.
That is where the V2 departs from the V1, the former having superior electronics within. It now has neopixel LED strips, which go along the length of the polycarbonate blade, enabling progressive ignition, retraction, and blaster deflects, cinema style. They are densely packed and emit light to give an edge glow illumination appearance. This elevates the traditional black Darksaber glow to a whole new level.
The SaberLight crew also now provides paid soundfonts containing clear motion, ignition, hum, and clash sounds. But for the convenience of access, the chassis can be removed through the pommel without dismantling the hilt to the maximum extent. The Australia-based custom saber shop SaberLight aims to make a difference for local Star Wars enthusiasts and offer products and services that are accurate to the movies with the help of knowledge and true love for the saga.
